What is a Holistic Sleep Consultant and how can I help you?

If you’re a parent of a baby or toddler, you’ve probably heard and read lots of different opinions on sleep!


From routines and regressions to “training” and “bad habits". Sleep, like a lot of parenting, can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re tired and just want your baby (and yourself) to get some quality rest!


This is where a holistic approach to sleep comes in.


Holistic Sleep Consultant looks at your baby’s sleep not as a problem to fix, but as part of a bigger picture to understand and gently adjust.  


A melange of connection, development, individual baby, individual parents and the emotional wellbeing of the whole family.


Sleep is never just about sleep. It’s about how your baby feels, how you feel, and how your days and nights flow together.



What Does “Holistic” Really Mean?


“Holistic” simply means whole.

It means, not just looking at how many times your baby wakes at night or how long naps last. It’s looking at the ‘why’.

I know that sleep challenges are rarely just about sleep.

They’re often tied to how a baby feels in their body, how secure they feel, and how supported their parents are.


We will explore things like:

  • Your baby’s developmental stage and what’s happening in their brain and body

  • Their sleep environment and sensory needs

  • Feeding patterns, nutrition, and comfort

  • Emotional connection and attachment

  • How your baby regulates (and co-regulates) through you

  • Family rhythms, stress levels, and what rest means for you as a parent


This approach is gentle, evidence-informed, and deeply responsive. It’s not about forcing your baby to sleep through the night, but about helping you both find more calm, rest, and predictability.


How I Work With Families


My work is grounded in everything I’ve learned from supporting parents in the early months and years as a postpartum doula, working with small babies as a baby massage therapist and helping parents who experienced a difficult birth experience as a  3-Step Rewind practitioner.


When we work together, we’ll take time to understand your family’s unique situation,  your baby’s temperament, your parenting style, and your hopes for more rest.

I’ll help you make small, realistic changes that work with your baby’s biology and your needs as a parent.


Together, we’ll build:

  • Confidence in understanding your baby’s cues

  • Gentle, age-appropriate routines that feel natural

  • A calmer bedtime and more predictable nights

  • Tools to manage the emotional load of sleep struggles


It’s not about perfection.  It’s about connection, compassion, and practical support.
